That catch can kit is calling my name. And the idea of not having to empty it ever is tits! I know people get all up in arms about draining back to the engine, but these people are missing that the point of a catch can is to prevent the yuck from getting into the intake track; it doesnt hurt the crank shaft or pistons etc as long as you change your oil enough. I figure that if you are enthusiast enough to install a catch can on your ride, you can afford to change your oil regularly. Now I just need to scrape up another couple a hun to add this to the pre summer build-a-thon.

I love people as knowledgeable as ya'll 30 minutes from where I love. I'm for sure ordering your snub mount bracket.

Any chances you guys will release rear sway bar end links? IIRC those end links are for the front. Having adjustable end links like the A3 would be a huge plus for this platform just sayinnnnn

Are you a 6MT or Tip tranny? The snub deterioarates on both but far earlier on the 6MT.

As for the sway, you bet! You will notice a difference big time. Our stock rear sway is a joke. I could probably bend it by hand lol.

I am really thinking about getting one along with a can. Maybe if we both got a rear sway at the same time Laszlo could hook us up a bit more?

I have the Snub already installed, but noticed a lot of room still. So I was wondering if the bracket is even worth it. I'm running a TIP tranny. Good to know about the sway bar. Thanks Tranz

So I see x4 up for a rear sway as of now. Hellz yes.

I am checking our inventory and looking at current pricing for the sway bars, bushings, and brackets, to see what we could do in terms of a Group Buy. [:)]

how does the catch can do in -35 degrees Celsius

In extremely cold climates, especially if you take lots of shorter trips, the drain line may become obstructed. I'd recommend running the kit without the drain line, and just draining he can manually every 5,000 miles or so. [up]

Dont mean to bash or start any arguments. But im not very happy with the quality of my stud kit. It works but is almost cheap feeling. Then again it was under 100$ for the set.

Might hafta look into those sway bar links though. They sound like a good idea when i ever put the rs4 bar on.

Curious man, what exactly can be "cheap feeling" about a stud and nut?

Excuse my vocab here. as i dont know the correct term or word for this. But there is a mounting hole? i guess. Its an allen key on the end of the bolt. All of them were off center and not even sized perfectly. I had a metric and standard key set and dont remember what i ended up using, but there was play and in turn the metal bent a bit. I dropped one of the nuts onto concrete from about 2 feet and part of the outer finish chipped right off and is already rusting a bit. Just not what i expected from such a well known and well reviewed company.

Quick question about the catch can. I'm from FL but I'm going to school in upstate NY and I have seen some stuff about cold weather negatively affecting catch can performance. Are there any issues with this one and freezing temperatures? Thanks

The catch can will work fine, but you may want to consider getting it without the drain back to the oil pan, since the drain line can freeze with condensed water in extremely cold temperatures. You can just empty the can every ~5,000 miles or so.

X5 on the RS4 sway bar

Unfortunately, due to the rising cost of the parts from Audi, the best I could do for a GB on the RS4 Rear Sway Bar Upgrade Kit with Brackets and Bushings would be $160 plus shipping. [:|]

If you'd like any other items at the same time, we can offer you promotional pricing on those as well.

Yeah, that's no bueno. Sounds like bad quality control. Is it an 034 branded item or something they are just selling?

Everything I have purchased from them has been top notch and actually just ordered a few more goodies recently. Might be buying the entire density line control arm kit today or tomorrow but I am on the fence.
