With the rec of you guys here, I went with McG's 105 & 105 and Poorboy's Blue. I got Adam's applicator pads for the 101-102 and the PC XP. One thing I didn't get (& I'm detailing this weekend) is an applicator for the Poorboy's wax.
Questions are: how should I remove the 105 & 105... by hand? And how do you all recommend I apply & remove the final wax for better results? I have a $30 Simoniz 10" orbital buffer thing if that will come in use? I also need to know when to use the wool pad that I have for it or if I should even use it at all. Thx again.

The wool pad is super aggressive!

Quality MF towels to remove the polish residue from both 105 and 205. You'll know you've done your work correctly when there's not a lot of residue, and it wipes away easily. In other words - make sure you've worked the product until all the abrasives have broken down. With 105 this will mean moderate pressure and max speed on the PC. With 205, you can eyeball it...either the same pressure/speed or slightly less, and probably a little less working time. (Hint...if the 105 is breaking down before you see correction, mix in a little 205 for extra working time.)
I always apply wax by hand - any quality foam applicator pad, and you can prep it with a bit of QD...that'll make the first few sections go easier. VERY light coat - any more is a waste of product, and your time in removing it. You're not doing any "work" here - only enough pressure to lay down a very light coat of wax. You'll find that this goes pretty darn quickly...for me it's faster by-hand than it would be by machine since it's easier to navigate trim, handles, mirrors, lights, yada yada. If you're working in sunlight, go one section at a time and then remove the residue...same as with the polish, quality MF towel, and feel free to use a mist of QD if needed. Ideally, if you're in the shade or in a garage, let the wax set up as you apply to the whole vehicle. Grab a swig or three of your favorite beverage, and then remove the residue.
