To All You Meth Heads...

I Noticed a lot of you have been running meth injection for quite a few years now. In regard to carbon build-up on the intake tract. Has anyone documented their engine before meth and now a year or more on meth?

I'm interested in seeing proven results that meth actually helps with the carbon issue.

As far as I know, it will not "clean" your current carbon, but will keep more carbon from building. So clean your valves first, then meth will keep it clean.

I may have to pull my intake soon, when I do I will see what my build up is.

I did a carbon scrape and conmplete manual clean at the same time as install.

I have a feeling my vent to atmosphere catch can/PCV delete is having a better effect than the methanol

Mine have 174,000 miles and they look pretty good (w/m didnt do much for cleaning) ill try to take pics pf the valves when I go to the shop today.. I have to drop off the 1.8 oil gear and chain and main studs then off to balancing

So far about 10-15k since the meth. When I get my new inj I'll take lots of pics
