Here in NE Ohio (about an hour from PGH) it's been pretty warm too. I bought 2 new snow shovels and a roof snow rake (to knock drifts off the roof and prevent ice dams) and have hardly had to use them. But living within 75 miles of Lake Erie, there's always a chance of lake-effect snowstorms in March and occasionally into April, so holding off on the change to the summer wheels/tires for now. Really hate driving the PA3s in 60 degree temps though so might switch them out to the PS3s in the next couple of weeks if the temperatures keep going up ...

I'm about to any day now. I'm in Minnesnowta and this season has been crazy, NO SNOW. Forecast next week show 55-65 degrees. My blizzaks are of no good use. Plus I figure my commute is 4 miles to work.

^ Man .. nice BBS Wheels! Sweet winter setup! The next 10 days of these temps in the 50s and 60s will melt these tires!

I don't know.... April 21st, 2001 we had over 12" in Rochester, MN. The possibility of snow plus the cold temps at night has me hanging onto my winter rubber a little while longer....maybe mid April....
Never switched out summers

As mild as it has been and is forecasting to be here in the 'burgh, I still will probably wait until early to mid April... Easter weekend is the 8th, so I'm looking at Good Friday as my target

^ Checked the Monthly Forecast "Just as a gauge" with the Weather Channel and they are saying 60's - 50's till April 1st here.

I'll be waiting until the last weekend this month (my normal weekend every year to switch tires). You never know when a freak snowstorm may pass through given how odd this winter has been.

I am glad I chose Yokohama Wdrive. These drive excellent in the dry and are decent in the snow. They are a true 4 season tire that is still rated as a winter tire. Will I buy theses again, yes 100%. I drove my GTI today with H rated winters and could really notice her leaning in the turns. With these Wdrives you never feel you are riding on winter tires. I'll keep an eye on the weather a little longer. I don't want to switch too soon as we have had snow here as late as mid April. I'll check the long term 10 day forecast on March 21. If its clear then I'll trade them out. Tomorrow we will be in the mid 50's so I'll be taking out my S2000. Might even put the top down.

Went with Conti DWS rather than a dedicated snow. Glad I did with this winter, and I'll be leaving them on til the end of the month.
Did mine today. Left them on the SUV in the event we get another storm, but with 60+ all over the 10 day I figured it was time. I hate those lug nut covers on the peelers...

Ahhh.. what the hell .. I changed them out yesterday. Those dam P-Zeros sure wear down quick! I only had 8,500 miles on them when I changed them out and look to only have about 5 -6 / 32 left! WTF! I am thinking...Michelin PSS next go around. At least they have a 30K mile warranty! Glad to have my Summers on...hope we don't get a Blizzard!! That would be my crap luck!

I have two sets of rims and tires so for me its easier to do but im still waiting a few more weeks. A lot of days I wake up and its still low 40's. I just dont trust the weather this year. Probably overly cautious but oh well. A few more weeks isnt gonna kill me but Im also still stock software so Im not burning up the tires. Im def gonna do it before I go from stock to Stage 2 and puley

Hmmm...maybe I should be considering it [:D]
However, you never want to assume the warm weather will last. For that reason I will keep mine on at least through April. At least we get a chance to dust of the golf clubs!!!

WTF!?!?! A low of 27 Degs F predicted for tomorrow for Long Island.
Can we change the OPs thread title to "Ready to change back to your winter tires?" My tires are going to be slick bricks tomorrow morning.
Considering I bought a snow blower this year and not an inch of snow, I guess the law of averages catches up with me since I took off my snow shoes last weekend. Go figure...

With the way the weather goes here, I typically keep the winters on until May. It has been a very mild winter, however we do get dumps of snow in March/April. I definitely don't want to get caught driving in snow with the P Zeros.

Yup...but that didn't stop me from swapping them out last Saturday! I have a couple other vehicles (2012 Q7 and 2005 X5) with winter tires still in place. Will likely switch the Q7 in late April and the X5 in early May to give me options if/when we get a spring dump of snow. Q7 has the 21" wheels with Dunlop Sport Maxx performance tires and the X5 is also running 19" performacne rubber so they are both useless when it's cold or snows!
Biggest gripe for me is wearing down these expensive winter tires in the spring (and putting up with decreased performance) during the 88 days it is dry and warm for the 2 days it is cold or snowy.

I'll keep mine on for a few weeks.
It will help keep the miles OFF the summer setup.

You're a brave man Phil! At least you have a few other options you can run with if things get messy. I just sold my other vehicle so I'm stuck with one for the moment.

Definitely think this winter has been a weird one for those that experience snow. I've been getting tons of calls about spring/summer wheel sets because of how warm it's been for them.

Don't think we'll see any more snow here in NH, but it was 22F on the way into work this morning. Kind of wish I'd waited a few weeks to swap; the Sport Maxxs don't grip too well in the cold.

My winters are coming off this weekend. Need to get the summers on for the ACNW track day at Oregon Raceway Park the following Saturday. Pilot Alpins hardly saw any snow this year but handled both wet and dry winter roads very well.

Michelin makes some damn good tires. I've had the PA3s for several winters now and they still impress me in the snow. Plus, they seem to be wearing quite well.
Going to have Super Sports mounted on my summer wheels when I get those put back on. Stock P-zeros are bald and ridiculously loud.
