I have had the AWE exhaust sitting the the garage for two weeks. I want to install it tonight or tomorrow night, but my time is tight. How much time for a DIY? I am guessing a couple of hours max. I was about to start last week when I found the oil and diff/CV leaks.

Jack stands in a garage or have access to a lift? Anyone to help?

Jackstands or ramps and no extra hands. One man show. I was under there when I had the back on ramps and it was tight, but looked like I could get the front clamps off. It might be tricky taking off the stock one as it is one piece. So, how bad as a single person job? The plot thickens. I suppose I could ask my wife to help, but she has almost killed me with her help in the past.

Not too difficult. Did with friend in about 2 hours. We had a lift though. Very easy to access all the bolts/hangers and line stuff up with lift.

I should be more kind. Without her help, I would never have gotten the transmission back into my R32. Unfortuantely, she was learning the use of the floor jack as I was trying to install the 90lb transmission. That was a classic for sure.

I would just spend a few extra pesos and buy a new exhaust clamp. It's only about $20 or so. When I replaced mine, I found that the stock one had rusted out and seized. It was just easier to cut it off and replace it with a new one.
This job should take no more than 2 hours, tops.

Are you doing the down pipes or just the cat back? I'd come down and help, but I'm playing in a softball tournament all day tomorrow.

Just the cat back. Yeah, I would prefer to do it during the day, but I am in training all day tomorrow. I think I will attack it tonight. Can't procrastinate more (not all my fault with the car in the shop for a week).
You should come down sometime. We have a Eurocar meet every Wednesday and I go when not traveling for work. We are also planning a trip to the drag strip. I would like to see how we match up with my Revo vs. your GIAC. We both have AWE intake and exhaust. Below is our site and FB.

Took me and a buddy 2 hours on the lift. We had an issue with one bolt that attributed to taking us that long. If we had smaller hands it would had probably only been about an hour and a half. The next longest thing was making sure the exhaust tips were symmetrical after hanging the mufflers. (APR RSC)

to actually Remove and Replace with the catback only, it took me and a buddy about 1.5-2hours. To align everything after the exhaust "settled", 3 more hours or so which included ramps, sliding in and out from under the car, inspect, etc. It took me a while to actually figure out how to align it after it was all on but now it sits pretty.

I lucked out. The lift made things tremendously easier to line things up. And having a friend that is OCD like me and about 3 people at the shop constantly pointing things out made it easier, lol.

Well, it sucked without a lift. It is also hard to get the two sides lined up equally. I will need more time to get things aligned. I broke one of the mounts in the rear and had to get creative to fix it until I can order the part.

If it is just that back part I was able to do mine in about an hour and half on ramps. The resonated DP's on the other hand were about 3 hours of trying and crying. Still couldnt get that one stupid passenger side bolt off by myself.

My gas mileage has mysteriously gone down 40% since I got this installed. I find my self two gears too low just to hear it all of the time. It sounds better than I expected. Took a cruise to the beach (Clearwater Beach) just to listen to it some more. Thank you AWE for a great product and thanks to Forge in Orlando for getting me on the AWE waiting list.

What made it hard to take off? I'll be doing mine when it comes in. Thanks for any help!
