Whatsup guys? I decided to make a build thread for my car, since i never had a single thread for my B6 and there was a LOT of work done to it. Unlike with the B6 though, i plan to do everything ONCE and correct the first time with the B7. Currently i dont have any huge plans but who knows what the future will bring. At this point i am planning on going stage 2 unitronic with all the supporting mods and a bit extra. Forgive my pictures, most have/will be taken with my iphone.

I bought my 07 2.0T ibis white Ti package S-line in october 2011 from a private seller on craigslist. Got a steal. Book value at $19800 and i paid $16800 for the car. car had about 75,000 miles when i got it. Since then i put on about 4,000 miles and am about to hit 80k miles! a few weeks ago i had a tech at my work do the timing belt job for me which total ended up costing about $550 parts and labor. And I have also had the dealer warrenty $1600 worth of work for the cam follower issue. They replace the cam, lifters, HPFP, and cam follower all free of charge. I also salvaged my JHM shifter and S4 Hotchkis sway bar set before selling my b6 and installed them on the B7. I had purchased white front reflectors from ECS before i even officially bought the car, so those were installed as well.

I had also swapped 6k headlights and hoen endurance (yellow) fogs from the B6 to the B7. One of each went out so i ended up buying a set of 5k headlights from ECS(great service too, i had one go out a couple months after, they sent a new one no question asked) and another set of hoen yellow fogs. a few of the fist pictures taken of the car:

Currently I have some goodies waiting to be installed when it gets warmer. Here ya go:

Goodies include: Vogtland coilovers, Podi pod with STRI stepper motor boost gauge, 3mm/5mm spacers, S4 rear valence, and Britalman Exhaust.

Here are some pictures from when i installed the boos gauge:

I planned on at least getting my exhaust put on this weekend, but rain, mixed with the fact that my jack stands are tiny and a partial bit of lazyness prevented that from happening. i did however at least get to paint my s4 valence. I painted it satin black. Eventually i will paint it white but i figured the satin black would compliment the Ti package for the time being better than the OEM grey color it comes as. Heres a quick picture:

got my Britalman exhaust installed the other day. Heres a quick clip i had a friend take on my phone. Pretty sure the "smoke" is just water vapor/the fact that is kinda cold out. this is with the stock cat.

not yet! my impact gun vanished from my garage, and the weathers still a bit cold. votgland coilovers will be going on within a few weeks when i get a new impact gun. which BTW i HIGHLY recommend Votgland as theyre a great company(along with PUREMS). one of my rear spring perches was siezed when i got the kit and mike told me to contact votgland. i did and they shipped me a new one no questions asked at no charge. [up] all i had to do was give part numbers off the two pieces.

will also be doing clear corners upon nicer weather. looking forward to wasting a lot of time and money this spring/summer!! (not really haha)

today i installed my coilovers, blacked out and clear cornered my headlights, painted my calipers, and got my LED citylight bulbs finally wired correctly with resistors

pictures to come soon!! and S-line suspension for sale...81k miles, still going strong, no leaks or blown shocks. $150 plus shipping [:D]

So i was able to lower the front to where i wanted it today! slightly less than 1 finger gap in the front, about 1/2 finger gap in the rear. also sold the S-line suspension today! Here are some quick pictures i snapped tonight. all i have right now is my iphone camera, and the car was dirty so the pics arnt that great.

Nate, car looks so sick! Love the white with Ti wheels, you'd be a fool to sell 'em!

Oh yeah.... how far are you from Weymouth, MA? If your free in August... do this 3 day rally with me! www.northeastrally.com

well, i am in the works of putting together a custom FMIC setup which should be done by the weekend granted my piping shows up on time. I also was at my buddy Nicks house yesterday and as usual we were talking about ways to waste money on our cars. He started talking about the new wheels he just bought...we started playing on photoshop....and before i knew it i was the new owner of a set of wheels that he had(which he never mounted on his car). ok well, technically i dont own them yet, but im buying them this week. I have yet to see them on a B7...and im very excited for the finished product. I need to get the correct size adapters as theyre ET47F/ET50R and a different bolt pattern. But i am hoping to have these two projects done in a few weeks! Not spoiling what the wheels are...theyre common on VW's...see them on a couple b5's and b6's...but no B7s. and never in the color i am painting them. [:D]

thanks man! i never actually weighed them but they were comparable in weight to my Ti wheels. and yes these are OEM Porsche Hollow Twists.

i should note that along with my unitronic stage 1+ tune at waterfest(going to go stg2 soon...should have just done that to begin with), i picked up 034 street density motor and trans mounts. the car is a blast to drive with the new tune and solid as hell with the mounts installed. i had the motor mounts in my b6a4 so i knew what to expect with them, but was pleasantly suprised with how much it tightened up the shifting. paired with my JHM shifter, it is awesome! i am also going to start and up to date mod list in the first post!

Let me know how this works for you.. Was talking to Lazlo and he said to go with this setup as well. Going to a tranny project this fall.. Same set as you Clutch flywheel, JHM short shifter, 034 transmission mount, USP metal slave w? ss lines, and rear diff mount

finally got this in the mail after a long weekend away! just by picking up the flywheel, it is noticable that it is light weight. Big ups to Lazlo@034 for the deal he gave me. Also for the tip on the 034 flywheel. Basically, you heat it to about 200-250 degrees before install because it is a .05mm press fit onto the crankshaft. i hope to install it next wednesday at work...but will have to talk to the tech at work thats going to be helping me and see if that works for him. excited none-the-less.

well, almost 2 months since the last update. Porsche wheels are gone, new wheels are here. Hopefully ordering rubber (probably dunlop direzza dz101s) in the coming weeks. Throwing 215/40/18 on my square setup of 18x9 ESM-004s. and yes, 3" lip on all 4 corners!! [:D] Quick snapper i took when they came in a few days ago:

well wheels are on finally! Took some effort but yea, they work. haha....had to shave my front calipers and have to run at least 15mm spacers on the front. Rears should have cleared no problem, but guess what....they didnt! put a nice scrape in the inside of my wheels. so i am running 15mm spacers front and rear along with shaved front calipers. just ordered 17.5mm spacers for the front because i am going to need the extra clearance when i do my brakes. i ended up going with 225/40/18 dunlop direzza dz101 because they didnt offer 215/40. still decent strech on the 18x9 wheels and the tires are very sticky. i also need to lower it a little bit more, but here are some pictures:
