NooB first post with a few questions.
I just placed an order for a B7 from a local dealer but want to know a few things about the order process. How long does it take to get an order# or confirmation back from AoA. And at the time of ordering what kind of documents did you receive stating that you placed an order.
I put a deposit ($1k on credit card) for one early last week and the only document they gave me was the "Build Your Audi" sheet from the website with all my specs & a few hand written words on it. Basically stating that I placed a dep. for this particular vehicle then had the sales manager and myself sign it.
I asked them to get me an order# or some official confirmation of my order as soon as possible but still no word. I did place the order late in the evening so they werent able to get any confirmation at the time. All I have at this time is a credit card receipt and the "Build your Audi" piece of paper. Never "ordered" a car before so I'm new to the whole process.
