I know on a lot of previous cars many people on those forums would change the fluid for trans plus stainless lines etc as one of the first mods. Has anyone changed out their tranny fluid for something different (ala Redline) and felt a difference? If so what difference? (Manual trans only question) anyone change the lines as well?

I don't know about the B8 S4, but with the B7 A4, I know a lot of the guys that have been changing the transmission fluid reuse OEM fluids cause they protect better than anything else on the market. OEM fluids will run you close to $300.
