Hello, I'm purchasing a used Symphony from the wrecking yard in the morning.. is there any way I can tell visually that its a BOSE without plugging it in?

I could be wrong, but I don't think the Symphony unit itself is either Bose/not Bose. It depends on what amplifier you have in the back, and what wiring harness you have.

There is a "Bose pin" which I think is a wire that is connected to tell the unit it is in Blose mode. In other words, the setting is built into the car rather than the HU.
