I got a set of H&R sport springs installed yesterday by the guys at Induktion Motorsports. In my opinion the drop is perfect for the type of car the A6 is. I have the 20" sport package and had about a 3 finger gap all around. My car now has about a finger gap in the rear and just less than a finger gap in the front. The ride is perfect now, definitely more sporty but not harsh. I thought the stock suspension was too soft. The drop isn't a lot but certainly noticeable, its supposed to lower 1.4/1.3 from standard suspension but since my car has the sport package the drop is a bit less.

Wow, really nice! Glad to see someone's tried these.
I was happy with the drop on our last B8 A4 with the H&R "OE Sport" springs, but wasn't sure if the same results would be had from H&R on their A6 springs so I was going to go with a full coilover kit. This is indeed another great, less expensive, option. Especially if one already has the OEM sport shocks/struts.
Would love to see more pics if you have/take them, especially close ups of the front and rear fenders.

Sure I don't have to say this, but i'm super jealous.
No offense but I hope depreciation hits those things hard, so I can afford one in a couple years lol.
Car looks amazing man [up]

Hate to burst your bubble, but that's not going to happen (the depreciating hard part, not the part about you affording one). As you're probably well aware, Audis have become hotter (and better) than ever within the past few years and I don't see that changing anytime soon. For example, with the 2009 A4 we just traded in for the A6, I actually sold it to the dealership instead of just handing over the keys and walking away from the lease - and we still had 2 more payments to make! It's the first time that's ever happened. On top of that, I wholly feel that this will Audi's bestselling A6 yet. It's just that good.

Thanks guys! I made a correction in the original post but there is actually just less than a finger gap in the front and exactly 1 finger gap in the rear. It should settle a little in the next week or so though. I can't wait for some more upgrades to come out!

Would you get any drop if you would have gone with the oe springs instead of the sport springs. I did the oe springs on my S5 and loved it. I also have the 20" with the sport package.

The OE springs aren't available for the C7 A6 yet. I dont know if it would drop the car much if at all if you have the sport package though. I've had H&R sport springs on 3 different cars including this one and have loved it each time.

is that the Ibis or Glacier?
So, I guess i'm with the others... why did you get the sport package, if you planned on lowering it with H&Rs anyway? I just placed my order on my C7 A6, and I got the sport package... I was planning, for once, to have a car that i didnt swap out with aftermarket suspension.

i wish the H&R sports for the C6 were lower then the OE sport springs?
they made em same or less then OE Sport... leaving just coil-overs
anyway the car looks great... do u have any pics...maybe a close up of fender profile
cant say for sure but something makes me want spacers
would u consider spacers?
just something conservative 8mm 10mm
nothing crazy...nothing to get u rubbing just dial it a bit wider
idk its just what i see when i look at the pics

The Sport Packages do come with more than just a lowered stance, such as the 19" or 20" wheels and a different "sport" steering wheel with shift paddles.
These H&R Sport Springs do drop the car a tad further than the OEM sport suspension. It's a subtle difference.

The drop is more than it seems. H&R claims a drop of 1.4 in the front and 1.3 in the rear from the standard suspension but it looks like it dropped that much from the sport suspension. The drop was definitely more than an inch all around.

The car looks great, did ride change at all? Did it get stiffer or felt the same as factory? Do you think these springs are better than Eibach?

Great pic and info!!!
I ordered the same H&R springs for my A6 and getting them installed on Friday. Funny enough my car is almost identical to yours with the exception of the sports pack. Since you have put them on have you had any problems? Is the ride any different?

Hey, I finally got around to ordering these... Quick question
During the install, did you DIY or have a shop? Do you know if they had to remove the rear deck?

The ride is more "sporty" and the car doesn't float around as much but its not harsh at all.
I had a shop install them for me, I don't know if the rear seat needs to be removed.
