From these two pictures can anyone help me identify the best positive and negative speaker wires for me to tap into to run to my crossover and then onto an Amp.
I also need a remote trigger and I think it is supposed to be white but there are several white wires?

I can't seem to get the harness off the amp so I will have to tap into them while still connected.

Take a look here at the Multi Pin connector 32 pin (http://forums.audiworld.com/showthread.php?t=2016161) The smaller harness in your picture just goes from the amp to the sub.

What crossover are you using? A lot of people tap into the low level inputs going into the amp, not the speaker wires coming out.

Also, on your connector, did you slide anything up off of there first? I have (had) the same amp and it had a larger piece of plastic covering all the wires. On there was a little lever that you have to slide to unlock the connector from the amp. If I remember rightly though, you should be able to use a flat screwdriver and push it in from the end to unlock the connector. On one end you will see 2 thin looking slots, about half an inch tall. Push a screw driver gently through there and you will unlock the connector.

Yup it is the harness with the cover and the lever.
So that is the 32 pin connector?

Will try again to pry it loose...

I am using an Audio Control LC6 with subwoofer control connected to a JBL 250/1 and an Image Dynamics IDQ10 sub.

Thanks!

Push the cover back on, and see if you can release it with the lever. If not, use the screwdriver. When I was splicing into my harness I accidentally locked it back in with the lever removed. Using the screwdriver I got it off.

If all you are doing is adding a subwoofer, you technically don't need the LC6. Assuming your amp has a build in LPF (I don't know many amps that don't). Then, all you would need to do is to cut the ends off an RCA cable, then splice the positive from the RCA to pins 19 and 20, and the ground to pin 7. Then, plug the other end of the RCA into your amp. The Symphony II+ is already sending a low level signal to the stock amp, using the LC6 you will take the low signal from the head unit, the stock amp will turn it to a high signal, then the LC6 will turn it back into a low signal, before your 250/1 then turns it back into a high signal again. Splicing in an RCA means you take a low signal direct from the HU into your amp.

You are 100% right but I want to use the LC6 because it has a remote subwoofer control dial.
I find the bass to overwhelming on certain songs and too little on others and like separate control over the sub without playing with the Symphony II+ base settings all the time.
I know your route will provide me a better and cleaner signal but the LC6 is very impressive and has worked for me for several years on my previous car.

So is #6 the remote trigger?

That makes sense about using the LC6 then, there are definitely times I find bass to be either overpowering or lacking depending on what I am listening to.

Yes, Pin 6 is the remote turn on.

So I'm all done! Installed a JL Audio 250/1, Audio Control LC6 and an Image Dynamics IDQ10 into the Avant all by myself.
I ran the remote subwoofer control under the steering wheel in the pocket that holds your manual.

Also hooked up a Dension 100, Dension iPod cradle, power booster and Panavise Mount (all thanks to Christian from Enfig)

The difference in sound quality is amazing!

8 guage wire fit perfectly right here! Took me 2 minutes to get through the firewall. And yes I did add a grommet later on.

The floor sits up about 1-2 mm due to the thickness of the JL Audio Amp but its hardly noticeable.
The subwoofer box was a freebie and is temporary until I get a nice color matched box made this year some time.
It's a great amp and I have the gains turned down pretty low so hopefully it won't suffer from lack of air flow....

Thanks for all your help!

Glad to see you got it all hooked up and working :)

Is your amp screwed to the floor under there? and do you worry about it over heating? I have a second amp on the way, and I don't think 2 amps will fit in the side cubby. But, I am worried they will over heat under the floor like that.
