THey have released DSG software for 09-11 models of the DSG.. now how do we know if our dsg is the same as the ones they have come out with software for!??

Unitronic offers the ultimate DSG transmission software upgrades available in today's market. Experience a smooth and unsurpassed gear shifting balanced to the performance upgrades and featuring lightning-quick response with a highly evolved calibration. If you own a DSG-equipped vehicle, don't think twice about harnessing the power that is Unitronic!

Stage 1, 2, & 3 DSG Software Upgrades are now available for your 2009-2012 VW/Audi DQ250 CAN Exx and Fxx Series & DQ200 7-speed DSG Transmissions, in addition to our existing offering for the 2006-2008 DQ250 non-CAN DSG Transmissions.

Sorry if I seem a little premature on the topic but I am dieing for a DSG fix! Having all the issues I have had. I have sent Rai and Unitronics a message to get word on this and how it will work for us if it will. Anyone else know a way to dig in and get some more information!? =)

DQ250 = 6 speed, wet clutch, transverse - MK6 GTI
DQ200 = 7 speed, dry clutch, transverse - Lower output models

Arin so that means it is not for the B8 S4 Trannys? I am unaware what Tranny type we have.

Also why even bother with competitors can you guys just do what you do make us all happy for christmas!! TCU with an updated ECU combo =)!

I wonder if anyone will make this for me 2012 135i DCT. I'd love to smooth out the tranny in D mode but in Manual mode I want to keep it's aggressiveness.

Looks like not for us. We have a 7 speed, longitudinal wet clutch transmission.

APR - you guys gotta help us with this... partner with somebody or pull off some magic. We need a higher rev limit!

As stated over here http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/461672-Hard-shifting-DSG...

There is a lot more than just upping redline. That will change the speed of the flywheels and require a change to clamping force, etc. It's all interconnected.

I didn't make any claims as to how complex it would be or how many other variables or dependencies there are on other systems. There is more than just the flywheel too. I'm just stating what I want.

At some point we'll run out of tuneable parameters directly in the ECU and we'll want to explore higher revs.

No. A4/S4 has a longitudinal engine.
