Hey all,

I dont know much about setting up subwoofer systems but Ive done my research on the products and just bought a custom enclosure for my b7 s4 and I'm going to go with the JL w3 sub to go with it. Upon purchasing the subwoofer off their website Im unsure which version of the 10 inch w3 is the correct one to buy.

also-would anyone reccomend a decent amp to go with this sub?

thanks in advance

I believe the last number has to do with the resistance. The 2 would mean 2 ohm and the 4 would mean 4 ohm. So which one you get would depend on what amp you get. I'm not too sure on amps these days, but I don't think you could go wrong with a JL amp, like the G1300 or the 250/1.
