CEL came on? At 625 miles?

So as the title says, my CEL came on (solid light, not flashing) at 625 miles today. Any ideas as to what could have happened? I'm pretty sure it's not bad gas and the car is running fine. I have an appointment in a few hours to bring in my car to get it checked out.

Same thing happened to my 2011 with only 425 miles. The light came on and everything seemed to run fine. It turned out the second bank intake runner was stuck open. They had to pull the supercharger with less then 500 miles. Other then the T-stat no problems since.

That was covered completely under warranty right? That also doesn't sound like a job that can be completed in under 2.5 hours haha, which is my dead line for today. I guess if I have the same problem, I'll have to go back tomorrow.

One easy one: Check the gas cap. I knocked mine loose one time while I was drying my car. VCDS gave me an evaporative emissions error. Made sure the cap was tight, cleared the code, and hasn't come back.

If you have access to VCDS, i'd do a scan and post the log here, as that will give us a much better idea of what is going on.

The gas cap was the first thing I checked :(
I don't have access to VCDS(I really should though lol), but my appointment at the dealer is in an hour so I'll post back when they tell me what's throwing the CEL.

It turns out that it actually was my gas cap. I'm not sure how that happened because I made sure it was on properly when the light came on.
