Finally, you guys have a shop thread!

What is amazing to me (at least) is how you guys wrapped the trim in the car while the trim was installed and it came out great! Edgar does really have steady hands!

Haha, I have ceramic 50% all around, 70% front on my S4. Love it! Subtle, classy look plus incredible heat reduction. I'm very happy and will do about the same for the R32 (45-50% all around, 80% front).

Some clear bra action for this bad boy as its makes its way back home to New York ... thats right .. new owner flew in this morning to take delivery .. brought it to us for a Clear bra package and back to New York it is!! coverage for this kit is front bumper, partial hood, fernders, headlights and mirrors. to this date we have not had 1 issue that we know of. There are so many Factors that play into something like that ... I will go ahead and comment in that thread thanks!

So what are your thoughts on matte whites and grays? I've heard horror stories about the lighter colors, mainly pertaining to staining.

Yes its true ... the lighter colors have a tendency to stain much easier than some of the darker colors ... matte black being the exception when it comes to water stains. The safest thing to do is to go with a satin type finish on any color ...the satin finish repels stains much better than any matte. You can also have a laminate put over the vinyl prior to installation that will prolong the life of the vinyl outdoors and protect against staining. Since not all colors exist in a matte or satin finish, sometimes a laminate is used to create the effect thus providing you with the protection you need by default. The 2 brands of film we like working with are 3M Scotchprint and Hexis.

Yep customer got the ATC treatment all around ... did 35% llumar ATC all sides + rear and 50% Atc on the windshield ... its looks very nice ... Ill post some pictures up on our FB page and a teaser on here :P

to wrap up this past weekend we did a lil mobile service down to Newport to tint this beautiful Bentley with 35% llumar ATC and match the front windows of the Porsche Cayenne to the OEM privacy glass ....

Thanks for doing a great job on my B8. My wife is loving it. Except at night she says she can't see behind her. I told her there is never a need to do such a thing :D. We will be in soon for that windshield CTX.

I think it would cost a lot more to DO IT RIGHT..plus, people can change the look more easily. I personally would never re-paint my Audi with some quicky shop that is going to slop on some paint to change the color for cheap. You gotta take the whole car apart just to begin with.

I think some more aggressive tires would make it look tougher ... but customer did not want to lose anymore MPG and comfort ... still looks good!!
