I recently changed my tranny oil to motul300 and the shifts are way better. The issue I'm looking for help with is the fact that I only put 3 liters in. I think I was persueded to only use 3 because that's what ECS service kits includes and now I see that's close to the capacity for S4 or RS4 transmissions and not the 3.5qt is see posted for the A4. When I filled it, the oil felt like it was up to the inlet opening on the tranny, but 0.33quarts seems like a lot to be missing. I plan on ordering 2 liters to do the rear diff, so I'll have some to top off the tranny. What do you guys think? [facepalm]

You are talking liters and quarts. 3 liters is 3.17 quarts, so make sure you are doing conversions correctly.

The diy I followed had me fill it up til it started dripping out the fill hole. Pretty sure I got close to 4 quarts in it.

Yes, I put in 3 liters (3.17 quarts) and apparently the spec calls for 3.5 quarts, leaving me 0.33 quarts short.
