This is a carbon fiber trunk lid for a A4 2008 SLine... i have been having some problems with the lid since day one, but none that we could not handle.... the lid is made great... just some tweaks to make everything fit MINT... the shop told me there was some modification to get the plate lights and handle on.... they asked me if something else goes to the outside of the lights... and sent me this photo.... http://i1209.photobucket.com/albums/cc390/Richiearich/2011-12-02130604.jpg

I correct? If so then their is a filler piece that goes into the little hole. It is for the reverse camera option I believe... Someone please chime in

Well on my euro trunk (standard over here :P) they are just plain metal recesses. Serve no purpose at all. Looks like someone's just cut them out.
