the owner upgraded to a full carbon fiber set, including the vent and the MMI pieces and returned this set to me to get his core deposit back.
I'm not really sure what I'm going to do with it, so I figured I'd post up and see if anyone had any ideas or interest in the options I'm considering.
Option 1:
Sell the set outright, buy a new set of cheap plastic cores
Option 2:
Sell the set for cheap, require new owner to return his/her original core trim back to me.
Option 3:
Tear set apart, remanufacture an oCarbon carbon fiber trim set with the OEM chrome accents.

Option 3 is the most appealing to me, but I'd have to find a buyer ahead of time to go ahead and do that. Last time I tried pre-making custom sets, with custom fabrics in this nature, I had a tough time selling them and ended up taking a loss just to get them out the door and off the shelf. I think a 20oz 2x2 twill set would look amazing with the chrome accents and still retain an OEM type look (pics of a recent 20oz B8 set can be found here (http://ocarbon.com/blog/2011/10/ive-got-two-b8-a4s4-sets-done-and-ready-to-ship/)). However, I could also see a more custom set, with a red, blue, or even sliver fabric looking really good with the chrome accents.
If you're interested in option 1 or 2, email me at [email protected] with an offer and I'll see if its worth it to sell it.
If you're interested in option 3, email me at [email protected] with what type of look you're going for and hopefully we can work something out. Keep in mind, it will be a little more expensive than a standard set of trim that I sell, but it will be a true one of a kind, as I don't get many of these cores with the chrome accents in stock to work with.
Pics of the set (I'm sorry these pictures are so bad, they are poorly lit. I will see if I can get better ones tomorrow):
