I have done a bunch of reading up on the Okada coils and I am definitely interested in them. I wanted to see of the people running them how they have held up and how many miles you have on them? Judging from what I can see they are worth it if they last, but would be a colossal waste of money if they don't.
Also, any other feedback on these from people who have had them would be nice. Most of the threads on these go way back.
Thanks!

Thought I would post a follow-up.
Have had these installed for a bit now and I must say there is a definite improvement. The entire RPM range is MUCH smoother, the turbo starts to spool about 150-200 RPM sooner and the throttle just feels much more alive and responsive.
Might not be worth it to some but worth every penny in my book!

ha ha I first read this and I thought you meant springs, and that suspension was making you spool quicker, and I was like "this thread makes no sense", but now I realize you're talking about coil packs.
Let us know what you think after some bigger miles. I would be happy with an aftermarket coil if it didnt fail and increased performance on top of that!

You can do a search for Okada and find the dyno testing I did and then decide for yourself if they work as advertised.
I am convinced they are not snake oil and so is every customer that bought them.

^ Exactly...Thats why I was curious how much he paid for them. I know they have obv benefits & Ive seen 1.8T BT people running these but I'm sure if they are really worth it for people that are non-BT.

I paid retail and still think they were worth it. If you want a better deal talk to Winston. He had a better offer for me but there was some lead-time associated with it that I didn't want to wait for.
