hey guys in september i bought the rai dp/tp combo and finally got it installed yesterday. im very happy with the sound and the performance increase. i feel like my car is still adapting to the dp/tp unitronic 1+ right now going stage 2 tomorrow. the torque definitively comes on stronger then it did before. top end power seems better also.

only one small problem my friend who installed the dp broke the bracket that held the stock dp in place. it was really rusted and figured it'd break anyway. however now at anything more then half throttle it rattles from 2-4k and also at idle. anyone else have this problem or no where i can get a bracket that will fit in there?

enough of me talking here's a quick soundclip for you guys

it was kinda a pain to get it in. but the fit is great once you get it in. best of luck!

When I installed mine I just removed the stock bracket. I'm going on prolly 8k miles on mine and I don't have any rattling issues at all. The stock bracket is in a very akward place, so it isn't that easy to get to. I finally got to it from the top side of the car. The fitment on my auto was so tight, the pipe pretty much held itself in place. Hope this helps...

I have the downpipe-testpipe comboed with a britalman exhaust...sounds amazing...and the power gain can definitely be felt.

sorry to change topic, does anyone know if the RAI high flow cat pass California emissions?

the rattle appears to be coming from the metal covering the front axle where the dp is touching

This might be a dumb question, but I just received my RAI TP today (thanks wrxmeyers), do I install both gaskets on the turbo side (it came with 1 for the DP side and 2 for the turbo side), or just one? And also, I've got the "J" shaped bung thingy... any difference/reason why this is better?

You just need one gasket for the turbo side and one for the downpipe side. I'm guessing you just got an extra gasket.

The J shaped bung just keeps the car from throwing a CEL.
