Post an ad in the classifieds and set the price to "Best Offer."

That hardly tells him/her what it is worth. That just tells what someone on this forum is willing to pay...

OP... maybe check ebay, and look for selling prices of that wheel...

Since when does "what someone is willing to pay" ≠ "what something is worth"?

OP, put your item for sale for a price you'd be happy getting for it. If no one sends you an offer, slowly lower your price until someone does, boom, you've found out exactly what it's worth.

Or just put it on eBay.

Unfortunately, there are no mediums where he'll have his item exposed to the entire population. AZ is a pretty good start with 80000 Audi enthusiats (those who'd usually buy Audi steering wheels). If it were me I'd also post on vortex, craigslist, etc just to broaden things a bit.

There's no better price indicator than what the market is willing to pay.

$200 seems decent. I just a a wheel with paddles for $115. sans airbag and cover plate.

A new airbag is almost $200. A 4 spoke wheel though isn't a high demand item. I would say $300 w/ the airbag.

People who are doing in interior color swap to black, might be interested... instead of spending more for the TT, or S-line... So dont give it away.

Thanks Cam, simply the reason that I suggested posting a best offer auction.

Good to see that someone has a grasp on Economics. [up] (Not being sarcastic)

I'll bet he will get more on ebay then on this forum. The reason is, you will more likely find people rebuilding damaged audi's on ebay that will pay more then here. Here people tend to want to go for non-stock items, so it will be worth less...

I watch eBay for Audi parts like this and don't see steering wheels selling. People trying to sell them start way too high anyway and those are the scrap yards.

Just an FYI... Just because you dont seen bids, doesn't mean they don't sell. A lot of times (I do it all the time) people contact the seller and ask them to sell it straight out. I've done it and got 2 XM modules for RNS-E and TPS for $45 shipped each.

Hmmm....I never find these steering wheels. Where the heck did ya find them posted online? I have been looking for months. I have a non sline and in no mood to fake it with an sline badged steering wheel with tip. And OP.....you might want to say what condition it is in such as blemishes/scratches etc when you do eventually post it with maybe a closer pic.

When searching on eBay, filter the results on "Completed Listings," look for items that actually sold, then that should give you some general pricing assumptions.

What are the laws on shipping an airbag?

Interesting. I never thought about this. I shipped my original steering wheel and airbag and recieved another wheel and airbag. They never ask about the airbag even though I tell them I'm shipping a steering wheel. I always leave off the "airbag" part.

How much you paid for the s.wheel only mate?

Also do B7s fit on 2006 A3 Sportbacks? I guess yes, but could not be sure :)
