No Sound, No static QUICK! i want sound!!

Hey I have a audio problem with my car, let me say this first before i go on the car originally was a b5 a4 i swapped everything to s4 specs..full interior harness, etc

I have an avic d3 which hasnt been used for about a year or more, its installed powers on but no audio or even static, complete silence.

but in the back of the car where you plug in a cd changer i have about 9 unplugged cables, maybe this is the problem?

and the AVIC D3 was working when we romoved it ~year ago

Do you have a spare speaker somewhere? Temporarily connect it directly to the speaker outputs on the back of the D3, if you get sound that way, then something in your harness is messed up / missing.
