Hi Guys

I'm trying to do a custom install for my VAST meth controller as well as my Innovate LC-1 LED and calibration button on the OEM ipod interface panel that's located inside the glovebox but I'm having a hell of a time figuring out how to get everything off!!!

http://i198.photobucket.com/albums/aa246/bpyun/2008%20B7%20A4%20build/IMG_0781.jpg

I've read a few threads
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/334782-glovebox-removal-question?highlight=glovebox+removal
http://www.a4mods.com/index.php?page=webcontent/pages/icelink.html

And from what I can visually see, there are 6 bolts I can take out

(3) 8mm bolts on the upper trim of the glove box
(2) 8mm bolts on the kick panel area
(1) 8mm bolt on the back wall inside the glove box.

After looking at this DIY (I don't see 5 bolts on the upper trim, only 3 [confused])

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/323155-DIY-Installing-the-extension-cable-for-GPS-antenna-with-pictures!

I'm thinking that there are 2 more 8mm bolts behind the OEM ipod interface panel.

There are 2 tiny phillips head screws that I'm thinking secures the male ipod interface connector to the back wall of the panel which I could unscrew, but I'm afraid it'll be a pain in the ass to re-install the ipod interface connector if I'm not supposed to do that.

Any tips? hints?

The ipod adapter slips right out. No need to unscrew anything. Carefully pry on the edges with a flat-tip screw driver to get it started. Enfig car stereo has a good youtube video for taking the glovebox out.
