Not posting this in the classifieds because I'm not the one selling it ...though it was mine. Posting this at all because I know how desirable Avants are.

Basic stats:

2008 A4 Avant
2.0T
Tiptronic (sorry)
Quattro
Quartz Grey
S-Line exterior package ("Special Edition") + steering wheel paddles
67,074 miles
Purchased new in May 2008 for around $34k

Link to sale on Cars.com: http://tinyurl.com/7xqwlax
Vehicle is sitting at Arlington Toyota in Jacksonville, FL for $20,991.

Mods still on the car because I was too lazy to remove them:

APR Stage 1 installed at ~60k (currently locked to stock mode, but it's fully loaded with stock/91/93/valet)
034 Turbo Intake Tube
RS4 Rear Sway
SWITCHABLE 640 mod
35% tint

Service history

Oil changes every 5k by the stealerships
Cabin vent system flap motor replaced <10k (wouldn't redirect air to different vents)
PCV replaced at 27k
Valve cover & valve cover gasket replaced around 40k for oil blowing out of filler cap
I replaced spark plugs with Iridium (NGK maybe?) one temp grade lower than stock and fuel filter at 40k
Serpentine belt tensioner pulley at 45k for cold-engine squeak
Serpentine belt at 55k for same squeak (still not fixed - power steering pump or alternator?)
I replaced the HPFP cam follower at 62k. Just wanted to do it - wasn't noticing any problems. Good thing I did, though, cause all the black coating was gone off the follower and it was starting to get a little gouged on the face.
Pads & rotors just shy of 67k

I'll provide the APR flash unlock code to whoever buys the car. It's then on the new owner to pay APR $150 to transfer the license to himself. The tires are Michelin Primacy MXM4 and only have about 7k miles on them. Brakes are literally brand freaking new. Like less than 500 miles brand freaking new. Like I had decided to trade it and the next morning the low brake pad warning light came on. [headbang] Ceramic pads front and rear, so no more dusting problems. New rotors, too. Brake work was done at Wagen Werks in Jacksonville. All other service was performed at either Audi North Shore in Milwaukee, WI or Audi Jacksonville (except for some tire swapping hell - search the forums, pretty sure I posted on it).

I built up a catch can setup and had it on the car for about 5k. I removed it from the car and will be posting it on the classifieds for $200 - the parts cost. I started with the 034 PCV remap plate and added a no-name catch can, some fittings, and some hose. I also have a full set of winter tires (General Altimax Arctics) with only one winter on them (about 5k) mounted on rims ready to install, but they're deep in the back of a storage unit and aren't immediately accessible. When they are, the new owner of my Audi will get first dibs.

Why did I trade it? I shouldn't have afforded the car in the first place, and I certainly didn't want to try to afford the car off-warranty. My wife and I only have one vehicle (medical stuff prevents her from driving), and I wanted to get back to something (a) more reliable and (b) with a warranty. I also wasn't looking forward to the $1k+ timing belt service that I'd likely have to have done next year (I drive about 20k/year). I traded the car for a 2011 Tacoma. See pictures over at my new hangout, Tacoma World (http://www.tacomaworld.com/forum/new-members/185378-back-truck.html). I never took her to the track and I didn't often floor it, but I didn't baby it either. ...Especially once I got the APR flash [drive]. It spent one winter in the Wisconsin snow and salt (moreso the salt), then we moved to FL.

Do I miss the car? Every day during my commute. That feeling goes away when I look at my new monthly car payment that's slightly more than half what I was paying for the Audi. Plus: I financed in a 7 year/120k warranty on the Taco [:D]. Even with the higher gas usage, I'm still saving money.

I hope someone from Audizine picks up my car. I know it'll be treated right instead of some more-money-than-brains soccer mom who thinks the car is "cute".

That's it. Probably my last post of substance on Audizine. It's been a fun few years. Lata!
