Im getting what sounds to be a clicking/plastic type noise from under my dash on cold start ups. Happens for a few seconds and sounds to be moving through my dash from the center to the passanger side. Sounds like its coming through the vents. I cant pin point what or where its coming from. The sound ends up stopping before I get under there or even try to record it. Anyone have any idea what this could be. Its hard to decribe.

Related to one of the flaps for the vents.

Me too. I think it is the heater flaps.

I get this too, ran an experiment for 1 week i wouldnt run the heat while getting to school (car interior warmed up by the sun) and it dosen't make that clicking noise. It's directly linked to running the heat, but im sure its no biggie just some normal sounds....

Yeah I was thinking it was something in the vent/air ducting causing the noise. It's kind of annoying and I'm anal about shit like that. Im recently out of warranty and probably shit out of luck aside from fixing it myself

I usually hear like 4-5 clicks going sided to side on the dash. It gets progressively quieter after that though. I used to be really anal bout my car too, but recently i've trained myself to try and live with the little things... I did get this new sound though thats driving me nuts! It sounds like a cd or hard drive skipping in the steering column whenever i accelerate or hit boost....

I had the same issue. Turns out there are 8 flaps back there. 2 of mine were broken or stuck and my dealer replaced all 8. It was a pretty big repair and my car was at the dealer for like 2 days. Lucky for me it was covered by CPO.
