I am listing this cause I was wondering if I can get some help on fixing whats wrong. I plan on going with either the APR stg2 chip or the unitronic stg2, here shortly. I wanna try getting most of this fixed before that. Also some random codes that I wanna fix like my air bag with the new multi instrument control steering wheel Thanks in Advance and sorry for the long list.

It's an idea to look at as a flaky alternator can cause all kinds of headaches.

You can clear the Alarm codes. They just let you know the alarm was triggered. Was your car in an accident? The opened by crash error and the seat belt tensioner error would lead me to believe it has...

Wait, hold on. OP: first order of business is to clear all those codes and see what comes back. For all we know those are codes from a year ago, or more, that are just sitting in the ECU's memory. Clear the codes, drive around for a day, and see what comes back. Post back on the result, only then will any advice be actually useful.

Sorry I will clear all codes. I do know all the misfire codes are now gone since I have replaced all 4 coilpacks and sparkplugs. No more O2 code since i had a test pipe and then I got my Stg2 tune now.

SO I cleared all the codes through my vag-com, and drove to work. MIL light pops back on on way home. These are the codes I get still

I have the low pressure sensor that goes into the HPFP in the engine bay, and a cam follower. Both are getting put in next week.

What else can I do?

I really dont now how to use the Vag-com to its full extent so.

The P310B "004 & "008" are going to be the biggest pains for you!!! I finally had mine written out so they don't generate a CEL just a soft code.


There are MULTPILE threads on those codes also listed as P0089!

I have had the two low pressure codes go away as i replaced the sensor last night. I need to do the cam follower soon.

So far only the damn airbag light is on still. Going to rescan tomorrow and see if anything comes up
