View Full Version : quick question about 15,000 mile service
I'm coming up on 15k mile service. I have an a6. I'm wondering if the dealership needs to put my car up on the lift for the 15k service, or can they just use a jack. The thing is that my car won't go up on the lift because it's too low. any solutions? besides raising the car up of course. I know it's a weird question. Thanks in advance.

yeah they'll just board it on up there , if my car can do it I know yours can
or if you dont have Audi Care where it has to go to a dealerhsip then just take it to
one of board sponsors where they deal with low cars all the time

At our dealer we have 2x12's cut into 2 foot sections laying around that we drive the cars up onto and the put the hoist under them. What year is your A6? They won't need to lift it unless you choose to rotate the tires because on most Audi's 2006-up the oil can be sucked out of the dipstick tube and the filter is on top.
