S4 Exhaust

Hi guys,

I've quad exhaust tips on my car for a couple of months now, but I'm not really loving to be honest, just don't look right.

Does anyone know if the backboxes of a B7 S4 exhaust will fit on a 2.0TQ? Maybe with a bit of custom work?
Has anyone done this here? Any idea what the sound may be like (possibly video?) I know it won't be anything like an S4, but I was just hoping it might be a bit deeper and a bit louder than what I currently have.

Also, I am planning on going Stage II/II+ in the future once I can get together all the parts needed. I know a high-flowing exhaust is needed really, but would an S4 exhaust suffice? I don't mind sacrificing some power to gain the OEM look.

Stage 2 you'll want either a HFC or test pipe. you can leave the rest of the exhaust stock if you want. Stage 2 all you really need is a reflash and testpipe/hfc/rai downpipe. Stage2+ just add a hpfp.

I've wondered the same thing myself. I've also been thinking about buying a used RS4 exhaust and trying to make it work. Has anyone tried to put a RS4 exhaust on an A4? Will the tips line up correctly if I use an S4 valance?

I asked the same thing before and 1 member told me the RS4 won't fit..

No clue how the s4 would sound, but I know they fit as we test fitted some on mine when my friend was swapping exhaust (stupid me should have kept his mufflers as my exhaust drones....)

If the RS4 fits, that would be awesome.. who wants to be the guinea pig? (I call not it for now since I just put the s3 K04 on)

Well I know a RS4 exhaust fits a 3.2 as my old B7 had one. So if a 3.2 exhaust fits a 2.0t, it should fit.

And if I recall correctly, the old B6 S4 exhaust is the same as a 3.2 exhaust.

rs4/s4 exhaust mufflers will fit, piping will not.
