Some of you might know from my previously thread that I was looking for a new software to replace the crap tune the car currently has.
http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/446802-DYNO-GRAPHS!-Comments-and-thoughts-needed-from-BT-guys!?highlight=
I found out there is an EVOMSit dealer here in Sydney and they are happy to do a custom tune for me. Is anyone using EVOMSit software for their stage 3 setup or has experience with EVOMSit in general? I know they are well known in the Porsche scene but haven't heard much of them on this board.
Any feedback on this would be appreciated.
Btw, they would require the car to be back on stock software, my question is, is it safe to drive 10kms on stock software with rs4 injectors?

cant comment on the rs4 injectors someone else can chime in for that but.... i do have the evomsit flash on my car stage 1 that is and what i can say is.. its very custom so they download the current file off your car and work with you to give you what u want out of the car. very professional and the tune is kick ass. my only comparison however is a friends stage 1 revo tune and my car kicked his cars ass in a 40 to 120 not that that would matter too much to u.. Basically youre right they do specialize in porche but since theyve moved to the audi scene theyve done great work my garage even dropped Revo to carry Evomsit flashes instead...

From what I've seen, they advertise larger gains than most tuners.

Thanks for the reply. Its good to hear the positive feedback on evomsit, definitely makes me more confident going with them. I do like the fact that they work with my original file instead of a preprogrammed download.

Thats what I hear too, but just haven't seen many using evomsit on this board. Their prices doesn't seem too bad either.

honestly I was also skeptical at first but the garage i went to is a good buddy of mine whos been working on porches and audis forever and he guaranteed me the best possible file for my driving habits and did not disappoint. the only thing that has gone wrong since the tune was a blown dv but it wasn't the rev D so i guess its nothing to worry about. since you're going stage 3 i would just suggest that you keep in touch with the guys creating your file and make sure you tell them exactly what u want!

Yeah that's not a problem. BWA auto (evomsit's sole distributor in Australia) will be doing all the logging, dyno tuning and work closely with evomsit, so this is going to be done properly!

Your probably going to run rich. As far as damaging anything goes, im not sure. I dont see why it would damage anything aside from wasting alot of unnecessary gas and just burning it, leaving black smoke behind you.

Well I'm already running rich (bad tune from previous tuner) so it can't be any worse. Just need to drive around 10kms to drop the car off.

Just take it easy, you should be ok. The last thing you want is a "cylinder wash" type scenario.

Across the board, it seems the numbers are pretty aggressive.

We have decided to run EVOMSit software on our Cayman S. From what EVOMS has told me the file is designed specifically for your car and based on the individual modifications you have. I will give you some feedback once we get the ECU back.

isn't this the same company that makes 900 HP porsches? They are very very reputable with prosches and high horsepower turbo kits
