Because I care about all you creeps, here is a link for all you nav people who want to play movies while driving your cars it works on MMI 2G & 3G cars. If you try it please post in this thread what you did for others.. Im going to try to use my non-official vag cable to see if it works (fingers crossed I don't need the genuine cable)


I'll be doing this tomorrow on our 2011 Q7!

Vizi,

I have been doing lots of HW on this for the rns-e. Are you only talking about MMI or are you curious as to our B7's aw well? I might have the 2010-11 maps, hack program, and firmware files for downgrade/upgrade. ;-)

I didn't realize all the B7's were all rns-e as there is a hack for it as well on that site as I saw it yesterday but it is a european hack.

yup, basically the same info I have. Well good luck with the MMI. Sounds like a cleaner setup from what I have read through your first links. Let me know how it goes.

So I did the VIM mod on our 2011 Q7 for the MMI 2G and it worked perfectly, I did a short test driving down our driveway and the vid stayed on....
