Hey guys

So after the Stage 2+ Revo tune, I've been spiking to 25psi and slowly leaking out boost up to redline down to 15psi. [=(]

I've been checking my vacuum connections and the only obvious problem I can see is the 034 "PCV" plug they supply with their kit which plugs up the PCV line fitting off the intake manifold. The double o-rings don't fill the hole with a tight enough seal. The tab they tell you to rotate so that it hits an intake manifold rib to prevent it from falling off doesn't really effect how well the o-rings are able to hold an air tight seal.

Has anyone with a VAG-com or a boost leak noticed anything similar with a 034OCC?

i think i've lost some boost too. aren't there other companies that make this plug?

I don't know, but if you find any please share your info here! I'm going to use something we used at the shop to stop a coolant leak on a modded E55 AMG at the shop for now.

Noticed the fit was loose when I got it so I cleaned and degreased the nipple and covered the rear of the plug in RTV before I installed it.

Any stock turbo tune will taper off boost to redline. The stock turbo isn't large enough to hold peak boost at high RPM. I have the same intake manifold cap on my car, and haven't experienced any loss of boost, or boost leak related DTCs.

I will verify with our manufacturing department that the boost caps and boost taps have been assembled with the correct o-ring. The final products were tested past 30 PSI during development without any leaks.
