Just wondering where our MAP sensor is since I'm trying to install my meth kit.
I thought it was the sensor I can see at the bottom of the TB Up-pipe, but my buddy told me that it's actually located on the passenger side intercooler pipe.
I need some clarification lol.

There is no map sensor. Are you looking for the boost pressure sensor?

Sure! I'll take the boost pressure sensor then. lol. Where is that located?

Should be on the intercooler. Just follow the hose down from your throttle body

Ahh yes, that's what I was thinking was the MAP sensor initially lol
The directions state "Green wire goes to 5V output signal of your MAP sensor (most vehicles its green). Use a multi-meter to verify. You should get a 0.2V reading with the Key ON Car OFF position. If the wire shows 0.5V or ground, you need a different wire. On 1.8T or 2.0T it uses terminal 4, but could be a different colored wire.

Map=manifold absolute pressure
Which means on a turbo car, boost pressure sensor because the absolute pressure is positive psi...

Shane you and I are on the same page buddy ;) In my 10 years of working on cars and owning a GT42 3000GT and a Twin HKS 2835 Skyline R33 GTR, I've never heard of the term boost pressure sensor. It's always been called MAP sensor, at least in the JDM world. Even if you buy an AEM EMS, you buy a 5 Bar MAP sensor, not a 5 Bar boost pressure sensor....
Btw since I have your attention, which wire did u tap into to get a pressure signal/voltage? The instructions state it's either a green (from VAST's instructions) or purple (from Snow Performance's instructions) wire and I see neither lol ... don't you love when that happens :)

The snow performance controller has a boost tap built right into it. All you have to do is route a manifold line to it... Though there is the option to tap
Into the map, the directions are not specific to our vehicles or maps... I'll pull out the diagram they provided but I don't think it will help you. And the vast is prob a rebrand along with the snow anyways lol prob same exact pump and nozzles.

The pumps are all Shurflo and the "psi" they exert just depends on how much you turn the allen on top of the pump. I had a Labonte setup on my 3000GT with 6 nozzles lol...one into each runner of my intake manifold.
Now that you mention it, I do remember that the Snow controller had a nipple off the controller itself now...
I will check tomorrow at school if they have a good electronic schematic of our cars to see which wire I need to tap into. Sometimes ALL DATA is good.... sometimes *crosses fingers*

Scratch that the snow doesn't make use of the map/maf sensor like I thought, I just remember having some extra wires for something?

All data is crap lol though they did update it a year ago when I checked before losing access. And I remember them trying to hotlink wiring diagrams so that you could easily goto modules or connector views from a schematic screen! Now I'm stuck with a bently manual and google lol

Maybe to hook up their Safe Injection module?

HAHAHAHA I see that you are familiar with All Data... or what we like to call Some Data lol.
When I used to work on my 3000GT I was totally satisfied with my Service Manuals! Sometimes technology doesn't beat a good paperback manual!
