Okay so,
I'm sitting at a stop light and all of sudden my car starts to bog down and then it starts running on 3 cylinders. I pulled into a gas station and scanned it and Cyl #2 is misfiring. So i drove it home (right down the street) and replaced the spark plugs, tried again and it start but was still misfiring. My buddy said he would get a coil from work and we would try it the next day so i let it sit over night. Before he came i was going to pull it in the garage and it wouldn't start. cranks but no start. so we pulled out the Cyl#2 plug and coil and tested it. and it was sparking. Swapped that coil with cyl 1 coil and it was sparking, so it isn't the coil So whats going on here? Why after just a night wont my car start? thanks guys.

compression test but i suggest a leak-down. the compression test can only go so far...Leak down will help you eliminate a value or head issue

Check mechanical timing. Check injector with noid light or stethoscope. Low compression is highly unlikely if it was running good before.

okay thanks guys. I'm going to try swapping out the ICM tomorrow to see if that's it, if that doesn't work I'm on to injectors, and then fuel pump.
I just find it so odd that i was running and then after letting it sit overnight it wont even start...

Sounds like the ICM to me.

When my fuel pump went out it ran fine one day, the next I started it, made it a block, dead. Sometimes they give no warning at all, little buggers
