Trying to diagnose this CEL. If I clear my codes, and don't fill up the gas tank full, this code doesn't come back. But if I fill the tank full, it does. Any thoughts?

Another thing I'm confused by is looking up the code on the internet says it's "SAI Incorrect Flow", but when VCDS says it is "EVAP Incorrect Flow(intermittent)". The VCDS definition makes more sense to me, since it's happens with a full tank, but I'm not sure about the conflicting code definitions.

Do you fill up with the engine running or top off the tank? If so, don't. If not, apply voltage to your EVAP purge valve (probably on top of your air box) and see if it flows air.

No, I definitely turn the car off when I fill it lol.

I'll check the purge valve.

I had weird EVAP issues, but they resulted from my driving with my LH rear fender liner out, and the air filter for the leak detection pump getting saturated with water from the road, the pump sucking water into the charcoal box (under the car beneath the spare tire), and the engine sucking that water all the way up to the engine, so that when I removed the purge valve, water started pouring out. I doubt this is your problem, so I'm just giving standard troubleshooting so far :-)

You can also apply voltage to that purge valve by doing an output test in vag-com, and you'd do well to check for vacuum leaks everywhere and replace any crumbly vacuum lines.

PO of my car replaced every single vacuum line and PCV piece from what i can tell(except for the PCV valve etc) trying to track down this error code lol. I suspect thats why they sold it to me for so cheap with 1/4 a tank :|
