Has anyone done the intake mod lately, swapping the helmholtz resonator and sound-baffling duct piece for a smooth curved plastic curved pipe? I'm looking to add some noise but not as much as a stratmosphere. I've read some past posts where one guy had attempted this, but I was wondering if there was a new solution that maintains integrity of the seal past the filter and looks stockish. And is not $350. :)

I think the biggest challenge is the airbox outlet diameter is significantly larger than the throttle body connection diameter. This will make it difficult to find an off the shelf part that fits both. Best best would be a larger diameter pipe that fits the airbox with a reducer to connect ot the TB.
