There was a discussion about ambient lighting and some references to the dome light.
For those who enabled Ambient Lighting (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showthread.php/445766-For-those-who-enabled-Ambient-Lighting)
I replaced my interior lights with LEDs with the expected result and I'm very happy with them. The issues I've noticed is that the dome light seems to be at lower intensity when the ignition is off and there seems to not be quite enough power to turn on the center dome light. When I turn on the round individual center lights, they are very dim. As soon as I open the door of put the ignition on, the lights come on full power and all 3 center lights work fine.
Is there a way (vag-com mod) to get the center dome lights to come on full power even with the ignition off?
