View Full Version : I'm looking for the MMI startup image.

I'm trying to build myself a static image to display for my next HPDE at Tremblant.

I'd like to GoPro the event and I think having this on my MMI would be king of cool, not to mention that I can actually leave that on to learn the circuit.

Anyone have the S4 startup image?

The how is simple, I'm going to create a DVD with this image that will play for a long time. I VIMed my MMI and all I'll need to do is start the DVD before my session.

Took a few tries to get the sharpness to where I wanted it.

It wouldn't be as clean, but wouldn't activating the navigation map not only give you the layout of the track, but also a visual on where you are on the track at any given time?

I though of that but I think it may be a distraction and I'm very sckeptical that the GPS map has the Tremblant circuit. I'll check it out anyways.

I just checked and as expected, the track is not on the GPS. It's just a big white pane.

This is my 1st attemp at this, maybe version 2 will have an animated tracker on the map. I could use estimates based on lap times and have a few version with different tracking speed of the video in different chapters.
