Good morning everyone. this is my first time posting on here. I have finally decided to cross-over to European cars. I have spent most of my time with Japanese cars. It has been a great time but the time has come to move on to better things. So, this is were m dilema comes in. How expensive is it to maintain an Audi? My Acura/Honda was not that extenisive or expensive to maintain. I was able to do small things (oil changes, brakes, etc) to it without taking it into the shop. Can I expect some of the same things with the Audi or should I expect to pay an arm and a leg for a simple oil change? I have heard of some horror stories on European cars (electrical problems).

As well what kind of modifications could I make to an Audi without voiding the warranty?

Hello and welcome.

You posted in the B7 A4 Forum, so I'm guessing you're looking to purchase a new one. And if so, then there's no need to really worry about how expensive it will be to maintain your new Audi, for the first few years anyway. Warranty covers all scheduled maintenance, even the oil changes!
