I met up with a guy from a BMW forum this morning and we took some photos of our cars. I would have loved for better lighting conditions as the the sun was very harsh but I think the photos turned out alright. His M3 was Mineral White and seemed to change colors at every angle so it made it difficult to photograph.

I have an m3 and an s4 but they're both older :( Although they are both pretty mint. I should get em together for a photo shoot haha.

Haha, I know! I was looking through the other thread and we ended up taking a lot of the exact same shots...funny thing is I just had a chance to look at that thread after I had posted this.

Usually for my eye - the S4 has better elegant lines but the M3 looks more aggressive - with your color and car you do a great job closing the gap. Sure wish we got cross drilled rotors. As per another thread on Audi Brakes - they need to improve and set apart their brake systems on performance vehicles. Porsche and BMW do a better job here both on brakes and other aspects of performance intrgrated into their cars.

All Audi had to do was put cross drilled rotors on and our brakes would look much better...

Back to the topic, I like the pics. Nice post!

Thanks all for the comments! We had a great time taking the photos and taking the cars up South Mountain.

I agree about the comments on the brakes. I also wish that Audi would have put the S4 on all four calipers and not just the front calipers.

Remember the S4 compares to the 335i which has the same style brakes.. And while the M3 just has BMW brakes the RS4 which it compares to was equipped with 8 Piston Brembo Brakes straight off the Lamborghini Gallardo...

You bring up a great point! Even I looked at an M3 even though AWD is important to me and an M3 equipped like and S4 is a good $10K+

Although knowing buying power and costs adding cross drilled rotors and even better calipers would not have taken the S4 out of its cost structure and if the body was a little more aggressive no complaints here either.

No idea how much the RS4 sold for elsewhere but the M3 sold for about 20k less than the RS4 here in Canada. I could pick up brand new Brembos, coilovers , exhaust and track rims for the difference in price and still have money left over. :)

The RS4 was 73k fully loaded. A similar packaged M3 goes for around the same.

the RS4's all in used market for now, the E90 M3 Competition Package retails for S$400k in Sg, my buddy just got one for S$390k after discounts.
