So this weekend I was in a fender bender where a bicyclist ran into the back of my car.

Unfortunately I do not think I will be being reimbursed for the damage he did because he isn't in the best financial situation.

I have two dents and a large scratch in my B6 Nogaro.

Anyone have any suggestions for a reputable body shop in the New England or North Shore area? Should I consult a dealer or smaller shop?

after my experience with Clair Mercedes and FMW Mercedes, I will never ever again use dealer body shops.

Go talk to Phil Jr. at Sansossio Autobody and tell him Pete from Yuppieracing sent you. He'll take care of your Audi... He is doing more and more Audi work He currently has a blue 10 S4 and 10 TT in the shop for some work

Well, I did recently and they did a crap job. After I asked to have the whole front bumper resprayed due to some paint cracks and damage they only blended it in and clear coated it. Which would have been fine only there were pit marks in various places, which they told me was due to stone chips in the original paint. When I put the plastic trim parts back on they covered these so called chips so couldn't have been there originally. Just a shoddy clear coat job.
Really not pleased with the outcome, wish I had taken it to Dicks autobody in Cambridge, I talked to him on the phone but ended up going to Sansossio as it was closer and had read so good reviews.
Do you really have to drop names to get a good outcome at these places? Shouldn't everyone get the same service and outcome??
Maybe that was my mistake, I should have said someone sent me....

Well Phil Jr. basically does only referal work, and specifically why I tell folks to drop my name. While the rest of the shop does work, Phil Jr basically operates a shop with in the shop. He does work on a lot of specialty cars and race car prep for the BMW club. He has his own labor rates, and he has his own queue of work.

Does he do insurance work too? I've never had a car repaired before and am new to the process. I'm having an estimate done today from my insurance company.
