Accelerator Position Sensor [Archive]

I hit a dip in the road at 90mph today and my car went into immediate limp mode until I returned home to VAG it. My EPC and Traction Control light popped on. I VCDS'd it, and got this code.

1 Fault Found:
18047 - Accelerator Position Sensor 1/2 (G79/G185): Implausible Signal
P1639 - 35-00 - -

I cleared it and went for a spin. Car is out of limp now.

Thoughts?

Check the plug connection to the accelerator pedal. Sounds like it might have jarred loose for a second. Also check the connection to the throttle body just to be real sure. Must have been a hell of a dip you hit or the connection to something must be damn loose,

I've had problems with my TBB sensor staying on because the clip is broken on it, so it could definitely be that.
