Little prefix I have a c5 pre-face lift .Ok so I noticed I was getting some water in the trunk in a corner of one of the rear wheel right where the cd changer is. SO I did the test for the sun roof its the driver side rear drainage hose. I did the clean through with the weed wacker wire still does it. The water comes out the place its supposed to but also can be seen comming out the rear deck so who knows whats wrong. I dissassemebled the A and B pillars dash and most of the other trim I am having a hard time getting the c/d pillars down I was reading http://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec148.shtml and they say I have to remove the rear deck first I have removed everything they said to but I cant for the life of me get the rear deck out the only thing I see holding it in place is the c/d pillars lol. SO any help would be great I would love to be able to fix this quickly so I can finish My audio install thanks.

All the pillars need to come out before the rear deck can be removed.

Yes, all the pillar trim has to come out to get the headliner off. THIS is the tech article that you need to reference to remove the headliner: http://www.audiworld.com/tech/int67.shtml

100% correct. If you read the tech article about the rear shelf removal, you will see that I state that the rear shelf is held in by the pillars because of these plastic hooks that are hidden under the C/D pillar trim. If you are only trying to remove the headliner, you can leave the rear shelf alone.
