Sat. Radio help

Hey,

I have a weird prob. In my 04 S4, I have an rsne unit. When I go to band, xm shows up, I click it and for one second I can see channels and then it says initializing. While this is going on it's playing the xm preview channel. I then go to setup to see if I can find a radio id but nothing shows up.

I went to Audi and the service advisor believes that I must have a receiver somewhere. We checked the usual spots in the trunk and nothing. I then went to an auto sound store and they were also perplexed. Any ideas? I need my Howard Stern!!! Thanks in advance.

Can you pull the RNS-E unit out and see if the sat receiver is at least plugged into the rear of the RNS-E. At least that way you will know if you have one, all you need do then is find where it is. Possibly behind the glovebox or something?

That is what I would think, but at least if you pull the RNS-E out and verify everything is hooked up correctly you might be able to then trace which direction the wires head off to the sat receiver.
