I replaced my front rotor rings with the JHM lightweight ones about 2 months ago (was running the stock RS4 cross drilled before). I followed procedures for bedding in the brakes and all was well for about 2 weeks. I then started to get a slight pulsing under light braking. If I used the brakes hard (like getting off the highway at high speeds) the pulsing would go away until the car sat for awhile. Now I have the pulsing really bad at slow speeds and bad vibrations for the first 1-2 high speed stops each day. I am running Carbotech Bobcat pads.
Any idea what could be causing this? I am tempted to order a set of OEM rotors and get rid of the JHM rings. I heard nothing but good things about JHM equipment though so I don't want to give up on them yet.
