Anyone ever have any problems with an intake manifold actuator? I have a 2003 audi A6 3.0 and one of the arms on the actuator is broken. Has anyone just replaced the arm or is replacing the entire actuator necessary?
Thanks.

See if these guys can make you a set. I'm guessing that you have two?
I'm pretty sure that you just can't get a linkage from the dealer and have to buy the whole assembly.

Yup the dealer parts include the entire vacuum actuator and rod and is pretty expensive.

yes, i know they want $509 for the entire assembly. I contacted gruvenparts and they don't make them. I guess not too many people have experienced this issue since they're aren't too many replies. guess its more common in the V8's.
anyone know where i can find just the plastic rod that breaks?

I've got one of the rods for you if you only need one and don't feel like spending a bunch of money. Get me a measurement of yours from end to end so we can be sure it's the right one.
