Just picked up my first Audi, previous owner pulled the deck out.. have no idea what it was. My question is, is it still possible to install a RNS-E Navi in the car still with all these random wires? If so how hard is it?

See that power harness on the left? You can disconnect it from the car. See those rcas on the left? Thats where the fun begins..cut the rcas they butt connected off and start soldering them back into the factory black connector on the far right color by color. Looks like some of the wires were cut short so you may need to de pin them and then resolder and put them back in. Then when you're done fixing the rape-age of your stock harness you can get the adapter harness from kufatec to adapt to rnse and you're in the clear.

Fucking hack jobs. I hate them. I NEVER do this to cars. This is serious lack of knowledge on aftermarket stereo installers' and amateurs' part that causes this pain for next owners. Follow CKYmike's advice OP, it can be done.

Wow! Thanks man your a life saver! I am going to get right to that.. I was really worried that a RNS-E would be a real pain installing!

Tell me about it, I purchased the car out of state and when it got here I was so bummed out to see the half ass job he did..

In a pinch where I wouldnt have the proper harness i have had to go without one to install a radio. However thats when you would TAP IN to the wires as opposed to cutting them short as hell like this jabroni did. I make sure to tell my customers that I always to prefer to go the route that you can put the car back to stock (insane custom work aside) with ease if necessary.
