I have a 2007 A4 S-line and I bought the R8 style LED projector headlights. Apparently the S-line model won't work with these headlights nor any other aftermarket headlights due to the wiring or something. I was wondering if anyone knows of some sort of adaption for this situation or if anyone has been in the same situation. thanks

Are you getting an error in the driver information display that says you have a light out?

no its in the wiring. the aftermarket ones do not have to same plug or are missing a certain cord. i think its cause of theyre xenon adaptive

Dude, you took out your OEM adaptive bi-x ($1500) for ebay lights ($300)? WHY? You should take the turbo out of your car and replace it with an ebay "electric supercharger"

Yeah, if you have xenons on your car then they have different harness than the ones on the r8 style headlights.

IMO - All after market headlights suck. OEM bi-xenons with FLY's LED's is the way to go if you want LED's. Nothing else looks more flush/oem than his do. The other headlights just don't flow

You remove your OEM headlamps and ship them to him in FL. He'll ship them back to you with the amber turn signal cover removed and with the LED eyelid strip. PM him for pricing bc it might change over time.

they are all over ebay man search that real quick. Stock xenon headlights are not compatible with the r8 style headlights and never will be. PM Fly300kts, he posted about, he has custom headlight LED's that are sick, its a little more expensive than the headlights u bought but well worth the money. Great quality and Phil is the man when it comes to customer service. I'm always down to help someone that puts so much into this community as well.

if you really want them you can make it work, it is a serious downgrade, but you like what you like.

These headlights are bringing the B7 down. They're horribly tacky and look terrible, like something you might find on a clapped out Civic with an unpainted bodykit. I've never seen a headlight with so many exposed wires, and tiny gauge wires to boot. If you just want LEDs, don't cheap out, send them to Phil and have him do it right, you'll be glad you did. In fact, I've got a set of halogen housings for sale in the classifieds right now because I just converted to OE bixenons. I can ship them directly to Phil and he'll add the LEDs and ship them to you so all you have to do is install them.

unless he sold them I think he has a set of halogens w/LEDs installed sitting at his house.

OP, I too went back and forth on what to do when I first started looking into LEDs, TRUST ME get FLYs and call it a day...EVERYTHING else is crap.
