i wanted to find out if the two strips that run down the sides of the roof come off?? i have looked on the forums and found nothing.... i'm going to paint my roof since my front windshield was just hit with a rock.... Here in Florida they replace the front windshield for free:).... so my buddy at the body shop told me to sand the roof down this weekend and he will have the windshield taken out Monday and replaced the next day... that will give him time to paint it.. i think it will look good... the car is red.... i have already painted my front grill, mirrors, rear lower diffuser and rear light all hi gloss black... So i think it will fit.. i am going to sand the roof this weekend.. before i start. i wanted to find out if those two strips that run down the sides of the roof come off?? there is some felt in there and i would like to cover that with tape before its paint.... i really dont want to start to take down the headliner to find out there is no way to unbolt them from in the car.. has anyone done this???? thanks for the help....
