past few days ive been getting a check engine light for the intake flap thing. researched it and i came to the conclusion it wasnt anything too serious that i would have to get the car to the dealership fast. so i left it. it went away. tonight i had a high speed run in with a g37x sedan. normally i can keep up with them for a little. tonight was a different story. i got pissed on HARD. so i had my scan tool hooked up because now im a little cautious about the car. so i got to check. 10 FUCKING CODES!!!

p0140 02 Sensor Circuit No Activity Detected (Bank 1 Sensor 2)
p0141 O2 Sensor Heater Circuit Malfunction (Bank 1, Sensor 2
p0139 Oxygen Sensor Circuit Slow Response (Bank1, Sensor2)
p0299 turbo under boost
p2015 Intake Manif Runner Ctrl Circ Hi Bank
p0642 Sensor Reference Voltage A Circuit Low
p0089 Fuel Pressure Regulator 1 Performance
p2014 Intake manifold runner position sensor circuit-bank 1
p0642 Sensor Reference Voltage A Circuit Low
p2014 Intake manifold runner position sensor circuit-bank 1

car doesn't seem to run poorly. ive noticed my fuel consumption has gone down. the car doesnt feel that fast anymore, but i chalked that up to 80+ degree days.

ugh, and i was just talking about how great the car has been too. any thoughts? im guessing i need the intake flap thing redone or possibly a new motor for that. a new rear 02 sensor. and i may have a boost leak somewhere. and i was just about to get my friggin suspension and tires put on tomorrow ((koni fsd and Michelin ps super sports))

i also find it very strange that i got the p0214 and p0642 codes twice.

Have you checked your fuses and relays? Many if not all are low or no voltage to sensors...

Battery or altenator.

Didn't check anything since it was 1 in the morning. I couldn't sleep last night because of all of this. Honestly. Haha. I'm gonna call then dealership in a little bit and see if they'll take me in today. I'm lazy. I'll post with a report when I find out.

Update. All codes gone except a p0642 and a p2014 one. No cel light though. Crazy Germans. Any thoughts now? Haha

Battery or altenator.

Second that, check the battery, it's getting to that age where the battery might need to be replaced.

All that from a battery? Shit. I'll buy a optima yellow top and see what happens. I'll keep you guys posted.

I'd also get the alternator checked out also to ensure that it's able to keep the battery charged properly. I drained the battery on my car to the point the battery no longer held a charge but I was able to drive around just fine (albeit I had the ESP light on because of the low voltage on the battery), but no other codes and such. Of course, shutting off the car and starting it back was another problem :)

Ah I'm not happy. Just bought a optima yellow top to see if this will help out.

It's just weird now how all the codes are gone except the intake manifold rubber position one. I mean I was going fast last night. So idk what the deal is.

well figured id update you guys with my issues. dropped the car off this morning. car hasn't really felt as quick as it used to. i originally chalked it up to the heat but this morning and the other night were cool nights. 65 degrees. still not quick. dropped the car off this morning at the dealership and got the dreaded call. turbo. SHOT.hpfp. SHOT. cam. SHOT. the dreaded cam follower issue reared its head and i lost. although its all covered under the warranty. thank god. they said my waste gate piston got stuck up which caused the turbo issue and the cam follower did the pump and cam in. i still have that pain in my stomach because of all of that stuff. but with a 85 dollar deductible whos complaining.

at least i have a new turbo haha. im just nervous when they go to install it because of my hfc. they didn't say anything but im still nervous about when they go to install it. they just said it was all covered under the warranty so they cant go back on there word right?

If you have a cool dealer/service adviser like I do - you are set. If not. . .

They've been cool so far. They said it's all covered. I'm just hoping when it comes to the install they don't get ghey one and say it's not covered. Although I can't wait for more consistent boost!

ok for the sake of the community im gonna post a update on this matter. i dropped my car off on monday of this week. got the call about what was damaged ((posted above)) i got the car back today, way earlier then my quoted week wait because the parts were available sooner then expected. here is what my receipt says.

Labor 1

multi point inspection.

Labor 2

engine lite on. owner states has 10 codes.
Mil on GFF diag, fault codes P0456 evap system leak detected and P1098 intake manifold position sensor - no open TSB's. Perform evap leak test, small leak detected trace to n80 purge valve (( that magical valve everyone talked about a few months ago but no one knew about)) remove and replace with new n80 valve and related hose. evap test, working correct. - perform basic setting for IRMC motor, can not perform. remove and replace IRMC motor assm with new. Perform Basic settings MVB 142. clear codes. working correct.

Labor 3

Lacks power.
perform road test. turbo lacks boost pressure. GFF diag fault codes P0299 TSB#2013060/6 done already. remove and inspect turbo recirc valve. valve ok. link arm to wastegate loose. remove and replace turbo with new ((SCOREEEE!)) drain and fill coolant, replace all needed hardware and gaskets, clear codes and perform road test. working correct.

Labor 4

code for high pressure fuel pump.
MIL on GFF diag p2293 P310B as per TSB#2015106/7. remove and inspect high pressure fuel pump and inspect. cam bucket worn ((cam follower)) cam and fuel pump damaged. remove and install bumper assm. lock carrier in service position. remove and install timing belt. valve cover. rear engine cover. and all related parts. remove and replace intake cam. high pressure fuel pump with related follower. clear fault codes and basic settings. perform road test. working correct.

sorry for the short hand, but thats how its written on the receipt. if anyone wants the part numbers for anything listed about let me know because thats all on here also.

all that for $90.95. AWESOME!!!

i was talking to the tech about everything because it just seems a little odd for all that to happen at once. he said its just a weird coincidence. he said the wastegate was stuck open so thats why i wasnt holding boost at all. he said maybe 5 psi is all my motor was getting. and as for the fuel pump and cam follower, he said my last visit didnt indicate anything bad. when he took it all apart, the piston that opens up on the fuel pump was pushed down all the way, which explains my shitty fuel consumption. but that piston open all the way caused my cam follower to fail and wear on the cam lobe. Schneider Nelson Audi is a great dealership. service advisors are really great guys also. they need to do a little more homework though.

i asked about the carbon build up and they said ((haha)) use shell gas and i shouldnt be concerned because thats a V6 issue. i ended that conversation real quick when i heard that answer. i really hope this helps the community out though.
