Just purchased the vmr 708's in 18's and was just wondering what other people with 18's were running for the tire size and if they rub at all. I was looking at 225/40 and 235/40/18. Would it make a difference? Pretty noob question i know.

How low are you?
Do you have spacers?

Assuming you're not slammed and don't have a ridiculously low offset, both will work with no rubbing. I personally prefer the wider look of the 235 though (this is also the stock tire size on S-Line cars).

Also pay attention to the load index of the tires, our cars require a load index of 93 or higher, otherwise the sidewall is weak to handle the weight and you will more likely to develop bubbles in the sidewall. 225 tires are typically indexed at 91, 235 are typically indexed at 93+.
